Jan Van der Roost is a Belgian composer. He wrote this march in 1995 which Harmonie van het Spoorwegarsenaal (The Harmony of the Railway Factory) asked him to compose to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Given this it's no wonder this march is imbued with festival moods.
